Aleksei Archer is an imposing and versatile American model and actress with a birthplace in New York. TV personalities are celebrated with a birthday on August 14th. But Guarnaschelli's experience in the kitchen began when she watched her mother experiment with various recipes at home, while she was writing cookbooks. The first time she was exposed to cooking, she observed her mom test recipes at home while editing cookbooks. Guarnaschelli was later appointed executive chef at Butter. Guarnaschelli was a contestant in 2007's Farmers Market Battle on Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she was up against Cat Cora. In the following years, she's been in the program as an guest judge and competed at The Next Iron Chef Season Four in 2011, where she placed third. Additionally, she was eliminated in The Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. Following The Next Iron Chef's season four, she was made sous-chef for Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008 she became the host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli where she mentors the students in a small class instructing them on how to reimagine classic recipes.
